1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service apply to everyone who visits or uses the Insurance Fraud Association website at 0fraud.org (the "site"), which is operated by Euclid Squared Inc. ("we", "our" or "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. Description of the service

Insurance Fraud Association offers news and explainers about insurance fraud and an email newsletter (Insurance Fraud Association Weekly). You do not need an account to use the site.

3. News and information, not advice

Content on the site is news and general information. It is not legal, insurance, medical, financial or tax advice, and it may not fit your situation. We are not a law firm, an insurer, a government agency or the police. For advice about your own case, talk to a qualified professional, your insurer or the right official agency.

4. We do not take fraud reports

The site is not an official reporting channel, and a report sent to us does not reach investigators. Do not send us reports of fraud, evidence or personal information about other people. To report fraud, use the official channels on our Contact page.

5. Court cases in our stories

When a story covers a court case, it describes the case at one moment. A charge, an indictment or a lawsuit is an allegation, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court. A civil settlement is not a finding of liability unless the release says so. Cases can change after a story is published, so check the court record for the latest status. If a story is wrong or out of date, email [email protected] and we will review it.

6. Newsletter

Insurance Fraud Association Weekly is free. You join only after you confirm your address from the email we send, and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. We may change how often it is sent, or stop sending it.

7. Acceptable use

Use the site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Break any law or regulation while using the site
  • Try to reach parts of the site or its systems that are not public, or interfere with how the site works
  • Send automated traffic that overloads the site, or copy its content in bulk with scrapers or bots
  • Use the site to harass, threaten or harm anyone
  • Sign up other people for the newsletter without their permission

9. Intellectual property

The content on the site, including its text, images, logos and design, is owned by Euclid Squared Inc. or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other laws. Justice Department headlines and releases are U.S. government works. You may link to our pages and quote short passages with credit and a link back. Do not copy, republish or sell our content without written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Euclid Squared Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss that results from your use of the site or from relying on its content.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Euclid Squared Inc. harmless from any claims, damages, losses or costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your use of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of anyone else's rights.

12. Changes to the site

We may change, suspend or stop any part of the site at any time.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
