Plain answers about what the Insurance Fraud Association website collects when you visit, why, and the choices you have. Last updated 19 October 2026.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit 0fraud.org, how it is used, and the choices you have. The site is operated by Euclid Squared Inc. In this policy, "we", "our" and "us" mean Euclid Squared Inc., which operates the Insurance Fraud Association website.
The articles on this site give general information about insurance fraud. They are not legal advice. To report a suspected fraud, contact your state’s insurance department or the authority named in our guides. Questions about this policy can go to [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message.
- Newsletter signup. If you sign up for Insurance Fraud Association Weekly, we receive your email address. The form asks for nothing else. See "Our newsletter" below.
- Other forms. Some pages still carry forms from the site’s earlier version, such as the "Stay up to date" box. Whatever you type into one of those forms is sent to us by email.
The site has no user accounts. It does not ask for passwords or payment details.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. When your browser loads a page, the company that hosts the site records standard technical details: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type. These logs are used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Analytics. Google Analytics 4, Clicky and Kissmetrics record how the site is used, such as the pages you view. See "Cookies and analytics" below.
3. How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Deliver the site and keep it secure
- Reply to emails and form messages you send us
- Understand which pages people read, so we can improve the site
- Send Insurance Fraud Association Weekly to people who confirmed their signup
- Meet our legal obligations
4. Data retention
- Emails and form messages you send us are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. You can ask us to delete them.
- Your newsletter address stays on our list until you unsubscribe. After that we keep a record that you unsubscribed, so we do not email you again.
- Server logs, and any data collected by the other services named in this policy, are kept by those providers under their own retention rules.
5. Data security
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
No way of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If you think something is wrong, write to [email protected].
6. Third-party services
We use the services below to run the site. Each has its own privacy policy, which applies to the information it handles.
- Hosting. Vercel delivers the site’s pages and keeps the server logs described above. Messages from the site’s older forms reach us through Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES).
- Google Fonts. The site’s typefaces load from Google’s servers, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when it fetches them.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google), Clicky and Kissmetrics: visitor analytics, described under "Cookies and analytics".
- Gravatar. Author pictures load from Gravatar, a service run by Automattic, so your browser sends your IP address to Gravatar when it fetches them.
- YouTube (Google): one of our articles shows a YouTube video. That player loads from YouTube with the page and is handled under Google’s privacy policy.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, Amazon Web Services and Make.com: the newsletter signup and the newsletter itself, described below.
Our newsletter
If you sign up for Insurance Fraud Association Weekly:
- The signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. To do this, Cloudflare checks information about your browser and device.
- We send one email to confirm your address. Your address joins the list only after you click the link in that email.
- We keep your email address, the dates you signed up and confirmed, the page you signed up from, and whether you are still subscribed. The list is kept in a Google Sheet and updated through Make.com.
- The emails are sent through Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES), which also tells us when an email bounces or is reported as spam. Links in the newsletter carry a tag so our analytics can tell that a visit came from the email.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click takes you off the list.
- We never sell your email address or share it for anyone else’s marketing.

9. Children’s privacy
